NO TROUBLE AT SYDNEY.
ARRIVAL OF THE MONTEREY. SYDNEY, June 18. The Monterey-arrived from Auckland at 4.15 p.m. Plenty of waterside labour offered and police protection was provided, but there was no disturbance. Footpaths outside the wharf were defaced overnight with notices to the effect that the ship had been declared "black," but these were sootf obliterated by Matson Line officials, who anticipate 110 difficulty in discharging the Sydney cargo.
