SHIPPING NEWS.

WANGANELLA LATE. BAIN DELAYS CARGOES. Heavy rain is delaying cargo operations in the port and the departure of several coastal vessels, and the stormy conditions outside delayed the arrival of the liner Wanganella by six hours. No further overseas ships are due until Friday. Wanganella arrived at 1 o'clock this afternoon from Sydney, and is berthed at the Prince's wharf. She has about 900 tons of cargo in addition to mails and passengers, and is to take 370 passengers on the return trip to Sydney. Weather is delaying the working of cargo, and the local office hopes to dispatch her late this evening. (11.P.) Antonio, discharging phosphates from Ocean Island at the King's wharf, is now to sail on Thursday for Westport, thence Nauru Island. (8.P.C.) Filefjell, a Norwegian motor tanker, is due from Singapore, to-morrc w morning wit]) a bulk cargo of petrol for Auckland, Lyttelton and New Plymouth. She is to berth at the Western wharf. (Shell.) Port Hunter is scheduled to leave Wellington to-day for Gisborne and Auckland. She is expected here on Friday, and is to be dispatched for London, via Panama, next Tuesday. (F.G.A.)
