CLEM DAWE REVUE COMPANY. Clem Dawe's particular style of comedy seems to be permanently popular with AucklandeiK. An excellent house was recorded yesterday, even with the inclement weather. Good humour, singing, dancing and clever acrobatic features combine to make "The Laugh Parade" one oi the best revues of the present season. This show will be staged until Thursdayevening, and to-morrow afternoon at the final matinee performance the management Will present to a lady in the audience an elaborate kitchen cabinet. On Friday next the company will present another revue entitled "The Whirligig," at the matinee of which next Saturday gifts will be given to children in the audience, one being a Shetland pony, with saddle and bridle. GIRLS' GRAMMAR CONCERT. The annual musical and dramatic entertainment presented by pupils of the Auckland Girls' Grammar School will be held in the Concert Chamber on Thursday and Friday next. Dancing, drill, dramatic sketches and musical items will comprise the programme. TAKAPUNA CITIZENS' BAND. Led by Drum-Major F. Smyth, the Takapu 11 a Citizens' Band on Sunday afternoon marched from Anzae Street to the Takapuna Beach, where they played a popular land classical programme, under Conductor A. Taylor. A collcction was taken for the fund to supply new uniforms. HOSPITAL CONCERT. Mr. Neville Carlsen's revue company entertained patients of the public hospital in ward 8 last evening with a varied programme of song, dance and novelty numbers. The troupe, in conjunction with the "Sunbeams" Company, will show at the Miners' Hall. Waihi, for three nights, starting next Monday. ] COMMUNITY SINGING. I Mr. Clem Dawe, of the current revue I season at His Majesty's, will be present | o:i the stage at to-morrow afternoon's community singing to be held in the Town Hall, in aid of the metropolitan unemployed relief fund.
