TRIBUTE TO LITTLE GIRL'S BRAVERY. —The framed inscription "which is being presented by the primary school children of Wellington to the Kakarfti School, IVanganui, in recognition of the bravery of a pupil. The memorial arises out of the tragedy which occurred on the Kakariki railway bridge last Boxing Day, when two little girls were killed by a passing train, the driver of which stated that the elder of the girls, Frances Mason, tried io protect her companion with her own body.
