POLICE COURT.

TO-DAY'S BRIEF SITTING. No serious crime was reported in the city during the week-end. The five persons arrested since mid-day on Saturday were first offending inebriates, with the exception of one old man whoso list showed that he had already made over 70 appearances in Cou>t. He was fined or seven days' imprisonment, the others being mulcted in the usual 5/ or 24 hours. Mr. F. Iv. Hunt, S.M., presided over the brief sitting of the Court.
