SEASON EXTENDED.

POTJISHNOFF ANJJ STEVENS. It scorns that public demand in Auckland will not allow the Pouishnofl-Horace Stevens season to be limited to its original schedule of two concerts only, and two further recitals have been arranged. Music-lovers are promised a feast of melody at to-night's concert, when the Russian pianist will interpret Chopin's poignant " Funeral March." and, in response to many requests, Strauss' delicate " Voices of Spring" will be played once more. Schumann, d'Albert, and the vivid romance of the Russian eomposers will complete the programme. Massenet's " Vision Fugitive," Brahms' " Verrnt" ' Wis btot cln meine Konegin," " Der Doppelganger," and three Shakespeare songs by Roger Quilter will enable Mr. Horace Stevens (bass-'baritone) to give of his best.
