New Zealand manager of the Goldberg Advertising Co returned from a business visit to Sydney by the Mariposa this morning. Professor H. Bclshaw, -professor of economics at Auckland University College and a member of the Company I'l'omotion Commission, returned from Wellington by the Limited this morning. Mr J. A. G. Allunl, Who lias been holding sittings of the Central Licensing Authority at Rotortia and Napier, returned to Auckland by the Limited this morning. Mr. S. S. Dean, chairman of the management committee of the New Zealand Rugby Football Union, arrived this morning by the Limited, and will go to Wail'ii oil Mombiy to open the new Rugby football ground there. Mr. and Mrs. R. 0. Hci'niOtt, who have recently been the gttdsts of the GoVcrnor-General, Lord Bledisloe, and Lady Bledisloe, at Government House, left' by the Mariposa to-day on their return to England. Tho Rev. J. E. and Mrs. Ward, who have lived in Taumarimui for the past :;_ years, and are leaving to reside in Auckland, were fare welled at a gathering yesterday, when Mr. Ward's work as Presbyterian inissioner among the Maoris and as a member of the local Borough Council, Hospital Board, and school c&mmittee were highly praised.
