ANNUAL DANCE.

AUCKLAND CENTRE N.Z.A.A.A. A large number of members and friends attended the animal dance of the Auckland Centre of the N.Z.A.A.A., held at the Operatic Society's Hall. During the interval of dancing Miss Eva Berry rendered some enjoyable vocal items, Miss Natalie Stratton and partner demonstrated new modern dances, and a magician performed some bewildering tricks. Mr. H. Ri Brainsby, who is leaving for England, and is a member of the Empire Games, team, was presented with a set of brushes and a trophy for a New Zealand record. Trophies were also presented to Messrs. P. J. Hackett and J. W. Savidan. Among those present were: Mrs. B. Thomas, in sea green organdie; Mrs. Mclntyre, beige and cherry georgette;
