WATER CONSUMPTION.
SLIGHT BECLINE REPORTED.
The total quantity of water supplied by the City Council to residents in its owii area and to certain suburban bodies during last year was 3,033,000,000 gallons. For the second year in succession the quantity shows a slight decline being 2.8 per cent below the 1933 consumption and 4.6 per cent below the record year's consumption of 3,178,000,.000 in 1931-32. The average daily consumption for 1933-34 was 8,311,000 gallons, the maximum dally consumption being 11,305,000 gallons, and the minimum 6,502,000.
