PUKEKOHE VALUES. (From Our Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, Thursday. A lighter yarding of cattle than usual came forward to-day at the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company's Pukekohe dairy sale. Values remained unaltered, all classes selling well up to late quotations. Best dairy heifers, close to profit, realised from £5 10/ to £7; other good classes, £4 to £5 ;>/; backward from £2 to £3. Beef: Nn heavy prime steers were yarded. Light prime steers sold at from £4 10/ to £5 5/; medium prime cows, from £4 to £4 7/6; light prime cows, £3 to £3 15/; heavy aged cows, £2 to £2 15/; boner cows, £1 3/" to £1 12/; 'bulls, from £2 to £1, according to condition. Fat pige were penned in rather lese than average numbers, but there was a big offering of stores. The demand for fat pigs was keen, values being firm at lave quotations, while large etores and slips were aleo in good demand at firm rates. The yarding of weaners was in excess of requirements, with the result that prices realised, were a little easier than at late sales. Choppers brought from £1 10/ to £2 14/; heavy prime baconers, from £3 5/ to £3 10/; medium prime baconers, from £2 16/ to £3 4,'; light prime baconers, £2 5/ to £2 15/; heavy porkers, from £1 16/ to £2 4/; medium porkers, £1 10/ to £1 15/; light porkers, £1 3/ to £1 9/. Large stores realised from 17/ to £1 2/; elips, 13/ to 16/; beet weaners, from 10/ to 12/6; other slips, from 5/ to 9/.
