KING'S BIRTHDAY.
CEREMONIAL PARADE.
VICE-REGAL REVIEW.
The customary ceremonial parade to mark the birthday of Hia Majesty the King will be held on Monday at the Domain, -where the Governor-General will review the parade. All units of the territorial force and cadets in Auckland will take part, as well as detachments from the Royal Navy R.N.Z.A R.N.Z.A.F., R.N.V.R., and Hauraki and Waikato Regiments. The GovernoV-General, on arrival at 10 a.m., will be received with a Royn. salute, the troops presenting arms and the massed bands playing the first six bars of the National Anthem. After his Excellency's inspection the whole parade will march past. Then will follow an advance in review order, culminating in a Royal salute, the troops again presenting arms and the massed band.i playing the first verse of the National Anthem. With the troops still at the present a salute of 21 guns will be fired. To assist the public in following details of the parade, arrangements have been made for a running commentary to bo broadcast on the ground. A general invitation is extended to the public to attend the parade, which should be over by 11 a.m. Special arrangements have been made with the Auckland Transport Board for trams and buses for the Ellerslie racecourse to leave from the vicinity of the Domain after the conclusion of the parade. Should it prove necessary to cancel the parade, the Royal salute will be fired from the Domain at 8 a.m. This will automatically cancel the parade.
