The annual "mother and son" banquet of the young men's division of the Y.M.C.A. was held last evening. The main address was given by the Rev. A. V. Whiting, who spoke on "Our Duty to Our Mothers." The general secretary, Mr. V. T. Drew, presided. The toast )f the evening, "Our Mothers," was proposed by Mr. Hugh Murray, and replied to by Mrs. H. Riddolls.
