The gazetted statement of affairs of the Bell-Kilgonr Gold Mining Co., Ltd., gives the following particulars: When formed June 23, 1033: nominal capital. £35.000; amount of capital subscribed. £28.500: paidup valuo of scrip given to shareholders on which no. cash has been paid, £6500; number of shares into which the capital is divided, 700,000 1/ shares; number of shareholders at the time of the registration of the company, 500: present number of shareholders. 650; number of men employed, 24; total quantity and value produced since registration, lOlou 12dwt 23gr. £733 6/0; total expenditure since registration. £2C.77S 7/10; amount of cash at bank. £267fi 5/7amount of debts owing by the company, MINERS' DISPUTE. A TENTATIVE AGREEMENT. An lnqulryinto the dispute between the Tnangahna gold miners and the Blackwater Mines, Ltd., was heard by the Conciliation Commissioner (Mr. S. Ititehic) in CUrlstchurch Inst week. The hearing was taken in committee.
A previous Bitting of the council was held at Reefton, when the hearing was adjourned to Chrlstchurch.
A tentative agreement was reached on all matters except wages and the allowance for working in wet places. At the conclusion of the sitting It was announced that certain proposals were to be submitted to the workers at Waluta.
