WAIPU COLLISION.
INJURY TO MOTOR CYCLIST,
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. An accident, which might have been attended by more serious consequences, befell Mr. J. Unitt, 6f Wolfe Street. He was proceeding to Auckland on hi* motor cycle, and had reached Waipu when he canm into contact with a tar boiling machine and suffered an injury to his knee. He was unable to move for some hours, when a passer-by picked him up. He was able to return home, and is now ou the way to recovery. i
