STATE PROSPECTING.

WEST AUSTRALIAN SCHEME. PERTH, May 10. The West Australian Government has decided to send 10 more men to the goldlields under its prospecting scheme. At present 1231 men are working under this scheme, of whom 300 have made good and are operating their own mines. They have repaid all the money advanced by the Government and produced gold valued at £GOOO.
