A four-ball • bogey and the continuation of the Taylor Bowl competition comprised the programme at Titirangi. The conditions were ideal, though the light topdressing made the greens tricky. In the Taylor Bowl B. E. Beehan reached one of the semi-finals by defeating N. C. McLean, and he will play the winner of •the C. Robinson and J. Coltman contest. E. T. Harold reached the other semi-final •with a victory over S. T. Gaskln at the eighteenth, -where Harold sustained a lead of 1 up by negotiating a stymie for a "half.
