ECCXiEFECIIAN ANOTHER. TOREADOR TAKES THE AWARUA. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Saturday. The Southland Racing Club's winter meeting concluded to-day in dull and showery weather. There was again a good attendance. The track -was heavy. The totalise.tor handled £7409, against £7141) last year. The total for the meeting was £13.019, compared with £13,243 in 1933. The opening victors were Double Shot (Myross Handicap). Master Lee (Invercargill Harness Trot), and Master Anomaly (President's Handicap). Later results:—RITCHIE MEMORIAL HANDICAP of £125. Toreador and Black Duke were early in the lead from Signaller, Jack a Dandy and Tiie Smuggler, and they raced in this order to the straight.
