MR. FRANK I* GWBBIN.
A deputation from the members of the Kauri gum trade made a Plantation to Mr. Frank L. Gribbm, at hw- horn , Calliope Road, Devouport, on his re tirement from business, Mr. Giibbni, who was bom in Auckland, starte Jj" the kauri gum trade 50 years ago with the firm of H. P. Barber and Company, Fort Street. In 1891 he joined the firm of E. Mitchelson and Company i kauri gum department, as manager and remained in that position until 1923 after which date he carried on business in the same trade. ; - f _ Mr. Gribbin is a recognised authority nn kauri gum, and is held in high esteem »h g o tnojv him.
