The judgment of Sir Michael Myers, Chief Justice, in the case of the SolicitorGeneral, against N**il Tonke, registered printer and publisher of New Zealand "Truth," for alleged contempt of Court, was delivered to-day. The judgment ua.s that publication of photographs of George Edward James after his arrest on a charge of murder was grave contempt of Court. A fine of £100 wns imposed, and defendant was ordered to pay costs, which were fixed at 30 guineas.
