HALL MARK AGAIN. UMARCH SECOND IN KING'S PLATE. BOY BLUE WINS STEEPLECHASE. MELBOURNE, March 7. Tho autumn meeting of the Victoria Racing Club was continued at Flcmington to-day in fine weather, and there was an excellent attendance. Yultcwirra, who is owned and trained in South Australia, led for the last six furlongs in the Elms Handicap, and won comfortably from Gay Star, with Nuit D'Or third. The Now Zealander Dazzling Raid finished fast into fourth place. The Australian Cup fancy, Danilo, gave only a moderate display.

Irving led all the way in the first division of the Gibson Carmichacl Stakes, and just beat the fast-liuisliing Handsel, with the New Zealand-bred Quarto third. The winner is owned and trained in Sydney, and is a stablemate of the Australian Cup candidate Mince l'ics Handsel belongs to H. R. Telford, of Phar Lap fame. Curator, owned by L. Tv. S. Maekinnon, chairman of the Victoria Racing Club, scored an impressive victory in tho second division of the Gibson Carmichacl Stakes. The owner won the race previously with Carradale. Mr. S. Green « Worthing, by Verbius from the Kew Zea-land-bred maro Burryanda, was second. Rar«onia finished brilliantly to win the Bourke Handicap, this being his first success since the Maribyrnong Plate over twelve months ago. . Boy Blue led all the way in the Autumn Steeplechase. Tongnlla threatened danger, but fell five furlongs from home. The time, 3.57, beats Sandhurst's course record bv half a second. Gudroon dislocated a fetlock and was destroyed. Hall Mark, who was prominent throughout, scored a popular win in the Kin? s Plate. His rider, F. Dempsey, eased him up near the post, enabling Liinareh to get within a neck. Heroic Prince enhanced his Cup chance by running tlurd. Hall Mark's stake earnings are now approaching £20,000. He is the twelfth favourite in succession to win the Kings 1 late. High Brae and Gordons Leap, both trained bv ,T. Holt, fought out tho finish of the River Handicap. The former credited 11. Skidmore with his third win for the afternoon. Skidmore heads the jockeys' list for the season with 32Va wins.
