EPSOM INFIRMARY.

PRESENTATION TO MATRON. At the Epsom Infirmary last evening a delightful musical programme was arranged by Miss Theo Halpin, sponsored by the Onehunga branch of the Auckland Hospital Auxiliary. The following items were rendered: Pianoforte trio by Misses A. Ilill, E. Pullan, E. Bunting; songs by Misses G. Warren and •I. Mcrizies and Mr. Robert Simmers; cornet solo by Mr. Raymond Wood; an amusing sketch by Misses N. Slaney and M. Partridge. Miss Erica Blamires also delighted the audience with elocutionary items. Miss Theo Halpin played two pianoforte solos and acted as accompanist, assisted by Mr. Robert Simmers. Mr. Gerald Lee efficiently carried out the duties of stage manager. At the conclusion of the concert tlio retiring matron, Miss Rudd, was presented with a bouquet and crystal powder bowl by Mrs. M. A. Straw, vice-president of the Onehunga Hospital Auxiliary, in the absence of Mrs. T. J. Noil, who was out of town.
