MOLYNEUX DREDGING CO. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") DUNEDIN, this day. The London cable that the Molyneitx Dredging Co. is issuing 1,250,000 two shilling shares, which have been underwritten, concerns eight miles of the river from Alexandra downstream and an adjoining six miles of river. These areas were placed under offer to the late Mr. F. W. Payne, of London, and his son has been negotiating for the formation of a Ixindon company with a view to placing a large dredge on the river. ALEXANDER OUTPUT. The secretary of the Auckland StockExchange, Mr. W. M. Barton, has received the following telegram from Alexander Mines; Clean up February, 245 tons of ore crushed for 190oz 7dwt melted gold. Cyanide, 249 tons sands treated for 540z 3dwt. of bullion. Estimated value £1456 and concentrates valued at £21S have been saved. In estimates gold has been valued at £(i per fine ounce. The following table shows the returns for the first two months of this year:— Battery— Jail. Feb.
