FORMER TOWN CLERK.
DEATH OF ME. C. W. KENT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) OAMABiU, this day. The death occurred this morning of Mr. Charles W. Kent, until recently town clerk of Oamaru, aged 68. He had been secretary of the local Rotary Club since its inception and. was town clerk for 24 years. He leaves a widow and a grown-up family.
