Big Monoplane for New Zealand Under Test. INTENDED FOR MAIL SERVICES. SYDNEY, March G. The Codock monoplane built in the Cockatoo Island dockyard, Sydney, to tho order of Sir Charles Kingsford Smith, underwent tests this afternoon. The big machine, which has been fitted with two Napier engines, and is intended for the New Zealand mail service, was flown for 15 minutes by Sir Charles, who made a faultless landing. He said he was entirely satisfied and that the machine is tho best yet built in Australia.
