RUGBY LEAGUE RULES.
AN AUSTRALIAN PROTEST,
(Received IX a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. At the annual meeting of the Eastern Suburbs Rugby League Club, Mr. H. Flegg, president of the New South Wales League, criticised tho attitude of tlio parent body in England. He said it was time Australia put its foot down. The Australian Board of Control is going to have a complete revision of the rules. "Wo will never win a Test in England, no matter how close wo go," he said. "We don't worry about that, but we will win them in Australia, and do it by fair football."
