The Canterbury Jockey Club's summer meeting was held at lliecarton today, tho weather being fine and tho track in excellent order. The Auckland horse King March, owned by Messrs. O. Nicholson and E. R. Davis, won the chief race, the Midsummer Handicap. Totalisator investments under tho win and place system amounted to £12,225, compared with £1?,195 last year, a decrease of £970.
