RUGBY SELECTOR.
NORMAN MILLARD RESIGNS. NOW HEAD OF HTJTT VALLEY H.S. (By Telegraph.—Special to " Star.") WELLINGTON, this day. Mr. J. N. Millard has resigned his position as Wellington Rugby Union sole selector, in which capacity lie served Wellington with distinction for seven years. His resignation is due, no doubt, to his appointment as principal of the Hutt Valley High School. He has also been sole selector of the New Zealand University fifteens for several seasons. Mr. Millard was a fine athlete in his Otago 'Varsity days, but a leg injury ended his Rugby career, as wing-three-quarter, after two games for Otago reps. He played for his native province against New Zealand Natives and Wanganui in 1911.
