GOVERNMENTS DECISION. SPECIAL MEETING CALLED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Criticism of the decision of the Government, as announced by the Minister of Industries and Commerce, the Hon. R. Masters, not to fix maximum and minimum prices, either wholesale tsr retail, for the petrol trade throughout the Dominion under the Motor Spirits (Regulation of Prices) Act was expressed yesterday by the president of the South. Island Motor Union, Mr. ,F. W. Johnston. Mr. Johnston said that Mr. Masters' announcement. had come as a great shock to members of the Motor Union and of all the clubs affiliated iwith it. He added that a special meeting of the executive of the union would be held within-a few days to .consider the-posi-tion* $
