TOUR OF AUSTRALIA. CUP WINNERS MAY GOME OUT. LONDON, February 14. There is a possibility that the Rugby League Cup winners, or the League champions, may make a short tour of Australia if invited to do so. BOARD OF CONTROL. At a meeting of the Auckland Rugby League Board of Control last evening, with Mr. G. Grey, Campbell presiding, various important matters bearing on policy in tlie approaching season were dealt with in a preliminary discussion. It was decided that the annual meeting be held at the boardroom on April 4, and that clubs be asked to arrange their annual meetings prior to that date. Touching upon the conference with the clubs late last year, special consideration is to be given next week to the proposals advanced. A motion of condolence was passed to the relatives of the late Mr. E. H. Healey (Christcliurch), Mr. Eccles (member of the primary schools' management) and the lion, masseur, Mr. C. Flannagan.
