The Railway Department in conjunction with the launch owners is running one of its popular trips from Portland to Paihia, Waitangi and Russell next Sunday. . . A fracture of his collarbone was suffered by Mr. James Nicholson, of 1(5, Walter's Road, Mount Albert, in a collision betwee the motor cycle combination lie was riding and a motor car driven by Mr. R. J. Ross, at the corner of Epsom and Gillies Avenues last evening. After receiving attention at the Auckland Hospital, lie was able to go home.
