BON VOYAGE PARTY.

• The first of a series of entertainments to be given in honour of Mrs. Trevor Davis, Mrs. Geoffrey Mailer and Mr. Lan Horton, who leave next month for England, was given in the form of a cocktail party by Lieut.-Comniander and Mrs. Tliew at their residency, Bridgewater Road, Parnell. The rooms were gay with summer blooms, and the guests thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Mrs. Tliew received her guests in a small check red and white organdie. Among those present were: Mrs. Eliot Davis, Mrs. C. Lawford, Mrs. M. Horton, Mrs. Murdoch Smith, Mrs. Mervyn Reed, Mrs. Scott Wilson, Mrs. W. McKail Geddes, Mrs. H. W. Wilson, Mrs. Douglas Mill, Mrs. Noel Airey, Mrs. Bruce Elliot, Mrs. William Powlett, Mrs. L. Jackson, Misses Dolly Vaile, Betty Wilson, Elizabeth and Mary Burges Watson, Audrey Hutchison, Cherry Anderson, Laura Mappin and Kitty Knight.
