ANONYMOUS GIFT OF £100. ii The president of the hoard of direc'tors of the Community Sunshine Association announced at last evening = meeting that he had received an anony- - nous donation of £100, which would " enable the board to prolong the healtli »■ camps until the end of May. iS: Air. A. J, Campbell, secretary, re- - -ported on the work that had been done, and his statement revealed the tremen*l, dous amount of oj-ganisation that is necessary for the management of the '* camps. They had been maintained at X their maximum strength of 125 ever « since the beginning of this season last December. The very welcome and gene- £ rous donation would keep the camps « open for a further four months. _ I"*. Letters of appreciation were received ** from the medical officer at Napier, who 2 referred to the wonderful improvement ~"in the health of the children who had •* iust returned from the camps, ana from "-■■ the Mavor of Palmerston North, who « entertained the children when they passed through his town. . , ~ The ladies' auxiliary visited the Scamps yesterday, and reported that I everything was running smoothly, and m* there were some remarkable cases of in weight and health ' among the children.
