INTOXICATION CHARGE. "I might have dealt with you more leniently had you not told the police untruths. You were certainly not drivin<r your car, but by your untruths you cause*! a good deal of trouble." said Mr. W. "R. McKonn, S.M., /a Selwyn J. Exler, a vouth. who appeared in the Police Court this morning on summons, i. and denied a charge of being in a stats of intoxication while in charge of a motor-car in Avondale on the night of November 25. Mr. Wallace represented Exler, who r. lyas filled £5. On another charge of ■•r driving without a license, defendant was fined 10/ ari costs.
