YACHTING.
OTAHUHU SAILING CLUB.
On- Saturday afternoon next the Otahuhu Sailing Club is holding its annual regatta at Shroff's Tvharf. at the bottom of Avenue Road. Otahuhu. This is the most important event of the season for the boating fraternity on the Tamaki River. In addition to a number of small races, special interest will be centred in the big yacht race, timed to' start at 3 p.m., and to be sailed over two rounds of the ordinary course. The competitors in this event will be Matariki, Cyclone Surprise, Champagne, Allies, Spindrift, Chans,; Sea Sprite, Kahlrl. and P oneer. A supporting programme of: punt and dinghy races and novelty, events, together a series of befng held in conjunction with the Otahuhu Swimming Club, should provide patrons with an interesting afternoon's sport.
