(By lelegranh.—Own Correspondent.)

WARKWORTH, this day,

A six-roomed house in the Dome Valley, two miles from Warkworth, occupied by Mr. and Mrs. S. D. WilsonStewart, -was totally destroyed by fire last night. Mr. Wilson-Stewart retired at 10 o'clock and was almost asleep when he heard a crackling sound and eaw smoke. On investigating he found that part of the kitchen was on lire. A strong breeze fanned the Humes and all efforts to suppress the outbreak wore unsuccessful. Practically nothing was saved. The building was insured for £350 in the State Fire Office, but the insurance on the contents is not available.
