EUROPE'S LARGEST STATION.

RUGBY, January 31.1 The first part of the new section of the 'Barking power station in East London has been opened, making this the largest station in Europe. It supplies 3000 square miles in south-east England and cost more than £2,000,000. The new section has the largest turbo-alternators in Britain and two «f the largest transformers in the ■world.
