CENTRAL SHOTOYER RETURN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNBDIX, Wednesday. The Centra] Sho'tover final wash-up for the paddock was lOOoz. making a total from the paddock of 49Soz, valued at £3275. BLACKWATER. Tho following development work lias been carried out during the quarter ended December 81 at the Biackwater Mines: No. 11 level v,-as extended ISSft. of which SOft was on low grade stone, while tho remainder averaged CJdwt over 22in. No. 12 level was advanced 207 ft on reef, averaging 15dwt over a width of SJlin. A total of 138 ft of rising was done on reef, averaging 14dwt over width of 21in. One hundred and thirteen feet of winding was done, averasins 22dwt over a width of 29in. The Prohibition shaft was sunk ISSft. ani 20ft of plat cutting was completed. The hydro-electric plnnt is working quite satisfactorily. During the period 10.982 tons wore crushed for a yield of £2f>.436. taking gold at 120' per fine ounce. Working expenses were fi'i.'H'S. whilst development and shaft sinking amounted to £4200. On capital account £51S0 was spent.
