Notice Is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Mount Wellington Road Board, held on the 19th day of December, 1933, the following Resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at a Meeting of the Board, to be held on TUESDAY, the 6th day of Febraruy, 1934, at 7.30 p.m., at the Office of the Board, Mount Wellington Highway. RESOLUTION : "That the Mount Wellington Road Board, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred under the Road Boards Act 1908 the Health Act, 1020, the Motor Vehicles Act, 1924, and each and every other Act nnd Authority enabling it in that behalf, doth hereby by way of Special Order make the following By-law :— "The object and purport of the proposed By-law is to provide for the registration and licensing of premises used or occupied for the manufacture, preparation, storage or delivery of food for sale; the registration and licensing of offensive trades and the premises used in connection therewith, and prescribing the annual lieeuse fees for such premises; fixing a speed limit of 23 miles per hour for motor vehicles on or along portion of the Great South Road at Westfleld, providing that motor vehicles shall not be permitted to overtake or pass any other motor vehicle proceeding in the same direction on portion of the Great South Road at Westiield, and providing for the registration and licensing of bicycles in use In the district."
