PROGRESSIVE CLUB.
About 60 people attended the annual picnic of the Women's Progressive Club, Y.W.C.A., held at Tui Glen last week. The sports items -were won by the Henderson Twins, Dawn Hallet, Joan Douglas, Joan Tierney, Heather Morgans, Joyce Scholfield, Phyllis Erskine, Edna Gaughan, Doris Robson, Edna, Gaughan, Ada Horsfield, Robert Appleby, Micky Hallet, David Storey, Cyril Hewson, Jack Riddle, Roy Tait. Visitors race, Mrs. Henderson 1, Mrs. Hallet 2; committee race, Mrs. Donne 1, Mrs. Appleby 2; members' race, Mrs. Morgans 1, Mrs. Bragg 2; grannys' race,; Mre. Bragg 1, Mrs. Graham- 2.
