WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.
LEVIEN—ROBERTON. Floral decorations formed a picturesque setting for a wedding of considerable local interest, which was solemnised by the Rev. P. Houghton, assisted by the Rev. B. Prebble, at St. Mark's Church, Remuera, this afternoon. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Dr. Ernest Roberton, was Leeley, youngest daughter" of Mrs. Roberton and the late Mr. A. B. Roberton, Remuera Road, and the bridegroom was Xornian Max, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson B. Levien, of Ely Avenue, Remuera.
Chalk-white diagonal twilled georgette fashioned the beautifully-cut gown, which followed closely the lines of her slender figure. The bodice had a high cowl neck, long tigkt-ntting sleeves, and was pin-tucked at the waist, and the straight-lined skirt was draped to form a long fish-tail train. A plain tulle veil was daintily arranged in folds acroee the head, and caught at the back with a spray of orange blossom buds and myrtle, the second train of tulle being of great length. A beautiful sheaf of lilies fastened with tulle completed the toilette.
Very effective were the frocks of the bridesmaids. Misses Joan Cousins, Janet Roberton (bride's eieter), and Mary Williame (cousin of the bride). They were fashioned in hydrangea blue diagonal twill georgette, with cowl neckline, and skirts draped at the back to form two narrow trains. Cream straw hats and shower bouquets composed of pink and blue flowers were completed with long tulle streamers. Mr. J. Maitland supported the bridegroom as best man.

Koberton received the guests in a black lace frock, with black picture hat, and carried a pink bouquet of water lilies.
