BOY SERIOUSLY HURT.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. Serious inquries were received by Mervyn Groves (9), the son of Mr. Walter Groves, farmer, of Motumaoho, on Saturday afternoon. The boy was playing near a maypole in the Motumaoho School grounds, when the pole broke and fell on his back. He suffered internal injuries and was admitted to the Waikato Hospital in a serious condition.
