INDIAN WOMEN.
The emancipation of women is spreading more and more in the East. Old conventions and superstitions are gradually being discarded and women are seeking more and more freedom. Only the other day a team of Indian girls discarded the modest saree, ■ donned flannel "bags," open-necked shirts and sun helmets and played a team of Indian men cricketers at Ahmedabad. And they won.
