BRITAIN WARNED.
Japanese Penetration Into the Dominions. ITALY AND FAR EAST. LONDON, January 25. The "Daily Telegaph" Rome correspondent suggests that Signor Mussolini contemplates launching proposals for a settlement of the Far Eastern problem. In this connection attention is directed to an article by Signor Davanzati, a member of the Fascist Grand Council, published in the "Tribuna," of which he is the editor. He warns Britain of Japanese penetration in Australia, New Zealand and India, and accuses Japan of bad faith in Manchuria and China. The writer blames the League of Nations for not preventing Japanese aggression. The article is interpietcd as°indicating Signor Mussolini's desire to lead Europe in action calculated to protect China and Russia, and check Japanese trade penetration in Europe, where Italy's own interests are at stake.
