EUROPE MARKET STRONG.
SUPPLIES BELOW NORMAL, (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON", January 14. Mr. W. P. Devereux reports that all the wool markets of Europe continue strong and active. The quantity available for the London sales is comparatively light, and an advance of from 15 to 20 per cent in prices is expected. Bradford tops have advanced substantially owing to the buoyancy of the primary markets, but the prices are still below those of the relative raw material.
