Leave a piece of velvet to gather 3 round the "legs" of the peg, so that ; when tied tightly it will look like a little J skirt. Cut a small circle of the leather, J fill with cotton wool, and sew over the k knob part of the head. On this draw • eyes, nose and mouth. On the top of the 5 head gum on a piece of fur, and tie a narrow piece of ribbon round the ncck ' to hang up with. You will then have a handy little pad to polish your nails with.
