RADIO PROPAGANDA.
NAZI METHODS IRRITATE,
LONDON, December 30,
Nazi ingenuity in devising fresh irritants to Austria is indicated by tho "Daily Telegraph" Munich correspondent, describing the gigantic loudspeakers erected at the expense of the German taxpayer just inside the Bavarian frontier. One is close to Herr Hitler's chalet, on the outskirts of Berchtesgaden, from where attacks on the Dollfuss Government in Austria are favourite items. Tho programmes include gramophone records of suitable speeches. At present a hard blanket of snow is acting as a conductor, enabling the propaganda to be heard for miles around. The Austrian authorities have warned skiers in the Salzburg district not to approach tho frontier, which in some places is obscured by buow.
