NAVY BEATS NORTHUMBERLAND,
Following the victory of TI.M.s. Dunedin's whaieboat crew against that from the steamer Northumberland on Wednesday, the Navy scored a further victory yesterday, when a team from the naval squadron plaved a cricket match with a team from the Northumberland. The match, played at the naval base, was a single innings one, and the Navy won by five runs, scoring 67 to their opponents' 62.
