ROWING.
EXECUTIVE MEETING. The Auckland Rowing Association's executive met last night,' Mr. A. C. Norden presiding. Correspondence was received from Otago Regatta Association, Ngaruawahia Regatta Committee, Hamilton Borough Council, Waitemata, West. End, Mercer, Hamilton Rowing Clubs, and Mr. H. Vv 7 , Hudson* It was decided that the eight-oar boats be loaned to the Rotorua regatta providing they are put in a condition satisfactory to the chairman of the eights committee. Many , matters in connection with the Rotorua 1 regatta were discussed, and suggestions made to be forwarded to tbo committee. A subcommittee was appointed to draw up the order of the events for the Kotorua regatta, the committee to meet on Saurday night, when entries close. Already fifty-three entries have been«received, and with several ; clubs yet to come in record figures should ' be reached. ; Messrs. S. H. Buchanan, A. C. Norden . and R. Porter were appointed selectors for the intcr-provinciai eight'-oar crew. [
