TAURANGA NOTES. Mrs. Allan Smith ie spending the holidays in Rotorua. Miss R. Falhvcll, of Papatoetoe, is spending a holiday in Tauranga as the guest of Mrs. E. S. Knowles. Misses E. and J. Ross, of Wanganui, are the guests of Mrs. B. C. Robbins. Mrs. J. B. McDiarmid is visiting Rotorua. Miss Doreen O'Leary, of Auckland, is spending a holiday with Mrs. A, E. Newsham, Devonport Road. Mrs. S. Turner, of Hamilton, is visiting friends in Tauranga. Mrs. Bruce Beale and Misses Margaret and Audrey Beale are spending the holidays at Taupo. Mrs. I. F. Fallwell, of Waihi, is spending a holiday in Tauranga as the guest of her mother, Mrs. B. C. Robbins. Miss Edna Dry and Miss Emily Rigby, of Dunedin, are holidaying at Tauranga as the guests of Mrs. Dixon, of Otumoetai.
The Hon. C. E. Macmillan, Minister of Agriculture, and Mrs. Macmillan are spending the holidays in Tauranga. Mrs. McCowan, of Te Whaiti, is staying at Otumoetai with her mother, Mrs. Knap. Mrs. B. Davies, of Thames, is visiting her mother, Mrs. T. Hall. Mrs. Knap has returned from a holiday in Whakatane. Miss B. Hardy is visiting Auckland. Mrs. C. Steedman has returned from a visit to Takapuna, where she was the guest of Mrs. Alan Buxton, of Minnehaha Avenue. Miss Kitty Hardy, of Christchurch, is visiting her'mother. „ Mrs. W. Padlie is on a motoring trip in the South Island. Miss Nancy Howden is the guest of Mrs. R. Bens'haw at Mount Maunganui. Miss Olwvn Odium, of Auckland, is spending a holiday at The Mount, Tauranga. , . Miss Jean Steedman, of Whangarci, is visiting Tauranga and is the guest of Mrs. C. Steedman. Miss C. Walkington, of Waverley, is spending a holiday at Tauranga and is the guest of Mrs. H. Bradmore.

Robbie, of Tauranga, was in Hamilton during the holidays. Mrs. A. E. Savoury, of Cambridge, is spending a holiday at The Mount, Tauranga. Mrs. C. Blundell, of Te Awamutu, is on a holiday visit to Tauranga. Miss D. Froude, of Sydney, is spending a holiday with her mother in Hamilton. Mrs. R. D. MacFarland, of Hamilton, is on a visit to Tauranga. Miss Edmonds, of Hamilton, is on a visit to Australia. Miss F. Peake, of Dunedin, is visiting relatives in Cambridge. Miss K. Hally, of Auckland, has been staying in Cambridge. Miss S. Empson, of Te Awamutu, is spending a holiday at Buckland's Beach.. Mrs. D. Ward, of Hamilton, is away at Tauranga Beach. Miss P. Abraham, of Dunedin, has been the guest of Mrs. J. D. Smith, River Road, Claudelands. Miss J. Herdman, of Auckland, has been the guest of Mrs. J. Whiteford, Hamilton. Miss T. Couper, of Hamilton, is spending a holiday in Wellington. Miss V. Jolly, of Hamilton, is away at Tauranga. Miss M. Gillies, of Claudelands, is away at Waipukurau. Mrs. H. Primrose, of Gisborne, is on a visit to her sister, Mrs. H. T. Gillies, Claudelands. Mrs. J. Clachan, of Claudelands, is spending a holiday in New Plymouth. Miss,;M. Mills, of Wellington, is visiting Hamilton. Miss E. Jeffrey, of Te Awamutu, is on a holiday visit to Wellington. Mrs. Harper, of Wanganui, is the guest of Mrs. C. Gibbons, Somerset Street, Frankton. Mrs P. G. Russell has returned to Hamilton from a holiday visit to Waiwera. Mrs. A. Gibbons, of Hamilton, is at The Mount, Tauranga. Miss W. Tancred, of Auck* land, is visiting Hamilton. A most delightful picnic was held at the home of Mrs. E. Focke, Hairini, Te Awamutu. All kinds of games were played, and lunch and afternoon tea were served under the trees in the garden.
