EX-SERVICE DANCE.
I I The Eden-Roskill Ex-Servicemen entertained their friends at a dance held in the Zealandia Hall, Balmoral, last weejc. This function was the concluding one of a series of entertainments organised by the club during the year for the purpose of alleviation of distress, and was thoroughly enjoyed by those present. Balloons and streamers in the club colqurs of red and blue formed the decprations, and a festive air was lent by the addition'of a Christmas tree. The hostesses were Mesdames Bickerton and Rogers, and Mr. Les Beresford was - master of ceremonies. Among those present were: Mesdames Andrew, R1 Ash, Arnold, Brideson,Les beresford, R. Biddick H.
